This is the policy page for the Titototter Wiki. Failure to follow these rules will result in warnings or disciplinary action, depending on how serious the violation is.
General Policy
- Per the federal law, Fandom requires you must be 13 years or older to make an account here. If you reveal yourself to be under the minimum age limit, your account will be blocked by an admin, and will be disabled globally by Fandom Staff.
- Strictly no spamming. This includes adding useless pages, writing pointless posts/comments/messages, making spam edits (e.g, reverting and then redoing edits).
- Please do not farm edits to increase your edit count or obtain badges. Badges should be obtained fairly.
- Please mind your caps, specifically in edit summaries, and when editing as well.
- Please only edit your own user page, not anyone else's (unless you have permission from the other user first).
- If you see a user breaking a rule, please tell an admin. Don't mini-mod by telling them what to do.
- Abusing multiple accounts are not allowed. You can have more than one account under normal circumstances, but if you make a second account to evade a block, your block may be extended longer, and your alt account(s) will be permanently banned. If, for any normal circumstance, you choose to use a different account, we prefer you to let an admin know. If you continue abusing multiple accounts, further actions will be taken.
- Please do not add false information.
- Please make sure that your edits are at the highest quality possible, and that they meet the Manual of Style.
- Vandalism is not allowed in any way possible.
- If you are unfamiliar with the formatting while editing a page, ask an admin for help. We would much rather help you resolve your confusion than to fix a page that was ruined by formatting errors.
- Be kind and respect all users.
- Posting private information about anyone is strictly prohibited.
- General swears are allowed, as long as it isn't used to harass or intimidate others. However, slurs/sexually explicit words are not. If such words are needed for quotes on pages, make sure they are censored.
- Please don't talk to disruptive accounts as it only incites them to cause more damage.
- No threatening of any sort is allowed.
- Please write in a neutral, unbiased, point of view. Please do not add sentences such as "[Character] has become greedy", "[Person] is a bad person", etc.
- Please do not argue with admins or other staff, they know what they're doing. This rule also applies to other discussions outside of the wiki, e.g, Discord.
- Harassment and hurtful behavior towards wiki members on Discord is also strictly prohibited.
- Quote pages should have more than 10 quotes. If there are less than 10, the page will be deleted. A character who has said only few quotes should have their quotes in their main page in the quotes section.
File Policy
Image Policy
- When uploading more than one image to a page, please try to edit the page you're uploading them to one time only. In other words, add all of the pictures you want to upload and then save the page. This will help prevent you from spamming edits.
- Make sure that the image you want to upload isn't already there. In other words don't upload duplicates. If you upload a duplicate image because yours is better quality than the old one, tell an admin the reason and the admin will keep the one he/she deems to be better and delete the other.
- Fanart or off-topic images should not be posted on pages.
Voting Rules
- All staff must vote before presenting it to public.
- If a referendum ends with more support, the action must be taken.
- If a referendum ends with more oppose, no further action is to be taken.
- If a referendum ends with more neutral, the second most popular vote must be considered (N, S, O = Support Wins| N, O, S = Oppose Wins)
Video Policy
- Don't upload duplicate videos.
- Don't upload fan-made videos The only videos we allow here is TT Movies/Shorts.
Messaging/Blog Policy
- When someone is warned, they must listen to the admin who gave the warned user the Warning/Notice.
- No "test blogs" or "test comments" just for the sake of earning badges. They are nothing but pointless and just fill up the activity feed.
- No necroposting (replying on a blog post/thread which had no new replies for longer then 60 days) or we will give you a notice if you continue, you will get a block.
- No profanity or threats are allowed against other users.
- Leaving messages on your own wall is allowed and don't use it too much if you want to explain why your doing this please make a blog about it.
- A person must not argue with an admin because they got there rights for a reason.
- Messgae walls are for short communications only, with long ones needing to go into blogs.
- Please no racist, sexist or homophobic comments, you will be blocked if you say something like that.
Staff Policy
- If a user is breaking the rules, you must use the three strikes system and warn them each time
- This rule does not apply to users who: spam, vandalize, offend other users, users who are exceptionally rude, or unregistered users. all of whom can be immediately blocked.
- A user must apply using the Titototter Wiki Admin Application.
- To be considered for any posision, you must be in good standing with the wiki and rules so this means you don't have too many recent warnings/notices and please don't beg cause you will be blocked.
